Eyebrow Extensions: A New Beauty Trend

People who weren't gifted with natural Cara Delevingne-esque #browsonfleek are taking matters into their own hands. Eyebrow extensions are officially the hottest new beauty trend.

The process corrects poorly-tweezed, over-waxed, or naturally thin eyebrows by gluing tiny synthetic hairs to the skin for a fuller brow look. Umber Sheikh, founder of NYC-based Wink Brow Bar, told Buzzfeed that it can take hours to shape the perfect brows. She said:

"The process can take up to two and a half hours to get the shape and fullness just right."

The best part about the new trend is that it isn't permanent, so if thin brows suddenly become all the rage next month, people with eyebrow extensions don't have to sweat it. The extensions generally fall out after about two or three weeks.

Given the price, however, that lifespan seems pretty short for these glorified extentions. The cost ranges between $75 and $350. Nevertheless, people are loving the new look. They're taking to Instagram to show off their seriously on-fleek brows.
