#Multimasking is the trendy new secret to flawless skin
It seems like every day beauty companies are coming out with amazing new masterpieces that will give us shine-free, youthful, glowing skin without burning a whole in our pockets. With a plethora of options, we find ourselves spending hours at the local drug store attempting to decide which products would work best on our skin.
One of the best ways to get #flawless skin is, of course, through the use of face masks. Any beauty guru would agree that using a face mask a few nights a week can help anyone achieve a gorgeous complexion.
The problem is finding the perfect face mask. In a sea of similar products, it's nearly impossible to pick out the best one. Now, we don't have to! Why should we pick just one mask when we can combine them all? The more the merrier, right?
The hashtag #multimasking has erupted in the captions of Instagram selfies as women post pictures of themselves sporting multiple face masks at once. The trend involves strategically applying a variety of face masks to specific target areas of the face. A shine-free mask can be applied to a typically shiny area such as the forehead, while an acne-reducing mask might be applied to the nose or chin.
It's best to apply a charcoal mask to oily areas of the face such as the T-zone. Then, you can use a moisturizing mask to get rid of those pesky dry patches. Next, throw a little retinol cream under the eyes to fight wrinkles. You can even add a pore strip to the nose if you feel so inclined. The possibilities are endless!
Despite the genius behind the trend, the images are pretty hilarious. Take a look at some of the ways people are having fun with #multimasking.
