May 2nd marked an incredible day for Brits. Not only was it the birth of the monarchy's second royal baby, but it's also the day that soccer star David Beckham became the newest member of Instagram.
In just seven short days, the retired footballer set the bar incredibly high. So high, that he is now the newest record holder for the world's fastest growing Instagram account. Although he is still a newcomer to the social media platform, Beckham managed to amass 5.6 million followers in under a week.
Looks like Brooklyn and Victoria have some major competition.
