Tom Brady might have to watch defending SuperBowl champions, the New England Patriots, from the sidelines as they kick off the 2015 season.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has reportedly decided to suspend the quarterback for his part in the Deflategate scandal, with an announcement on its way next week.

According to NBC Sports, Goodell reportedly believes that Brady is in violation of two key misconducts: his involvement in having footballs under-inflated and his refusal to allow the Deflategate investigation to have access to his phone records.

Although the length of suspension is not yet determined, the Patriots are reportedly bracing for the worst outcome or a 6-8 game leave.

If the suspension does occur, Tom Brady may be the most famous player to be suspended in NFL history.
