Why Eva Mendes has no plan to celebrate herself on Mother's Day
Eva Mendes became a mom 7 months ago when she gave birth to Esmeralda Amanda Gosling.
The new mom decided however, she won't be celebrating her first Mother's Day.
"I kinda feel like I haven't quite earned my stripes yet in a way," Mendes told Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday.
Instead, she'll be honoring her own mother on the special day.

"This Mother's Day is definitely all about my mom," Mendes said. "She's had a really hard year. My brother's sick, so it's all about my mom, honoring her. We're all going to go over to her house and bombard her with love."
We hope Eva and Esmeralda will still wear a matching mother-daughter outfit this Sunday from her New York & Company clothing line. We can't think of anything more precious!
