WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) - A Piedmont Triad couple, planning to tie the knot this summer, moved their wedding up so the groom's mother, ill with cancer, could attend.

This Thursday, Bruce Lawson learned from doctors at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center that his mother, Lynn, may only have days to live.

In less than a day, with the help of the hospital staff, the family put together a wedding to remember; in a place none of them could have imagined.
