London Property Tycoon Dies After Falling From Balcony

The man at the center of one of Britain's most high-profile divorce battles died Monday after falling 60 feet from a building in central London.

Scot Young, 52, fell from the fourth floor window of his multimillion dollar home and then was impaled by iron railings.

The former property tycoon and ex-convict was known for running with a wealthy crowd, but also for a lengthy legal battle with his ex-wife Michelle.

Last year, he was ordered to pay her $30 million after an extraordinary six-year court battle following their divorce. He was also jailed for six months for refusing to reveal financial information. The couple had two children and were married for 16 years before separating in 2006.

Young spent the majority of the time that the case was proceeding through the court system dating and becoming engaged to Bravo's "Ladies of London" star Noelle Reno. Reno opened up on the reality show about his divorce battle and the media coverage that ensued.

His ex-wife said Wednesday that she and their two daughters are devastated. She also claimed Young attempted suicide during their court battle.

In an interview earlier this year, Reno told the Daily Mail his damaged finances and the stress of the case "kills him." Police are not treating his death as suspicious.
