ET has new details on the murder-suicide of Hit the Floor star Stephanie Moseley and her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, as well as a deeper insight as to what Stephanie was like as a person.

"She was just a huge light for us -- a wonderful person," executive producer James LaRosa told ET. "It actually still is very surreal. I haven't really fully processed it to be honest."

LaRosa worked with Moseley on VH1's Hit the Floor -- an hour-long scripted drama exploring the lives of dancers in Los Angeles. As a dancer, Moseley toured with many famous acts, including Britney Spears and Chris Brown.

"None of the cast or crew of Hit the Floor wants Stephanie to be defined or remembered for yesterday," said LaRosa. "It's a hideous, awful thing and we need to focus on Stephanie and the amazing person that she is."

Hayes, who was a member of boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s Money Team, allegedly shot and killed Moseley before turning the gun on himself.

Residents at the couple's Los Angeles apartment complex told police they heard a woman screaming before gun shots rang out early Monday morning. Their bodies were found on the bathroom floor, LAPD Homicide Detective Scott Masterson tells ET.

Though reports suggested that the couple was in the process of splitting up and that Hayes had accused Moseley of infidelity with "a famous singer," the couple was living together. Moseley's family -- who last spoke to her on Dec. 3 -- said the couple was reconciling after having broken up a year ago, a source tells ET.

Multiple sources tell ET that just before the apparent murder-suicide, Hayes called Mayweather. The boxing champ possibly could have witnessed the murder-suicide via FaceTime. Later that night, Mayweather was spotted courtside at a Los Angeles Clippers game. The LAPD has been in contact with Mayweather's camp and will likely meet with him Wednesday morning.

Following Moseley's tragic passing there has been an outpouring of support.

"I knew Stephanie pretty well," Jennifer Lopez told ET. "She was one of my dancers for a while. It was a devastating thing."

r.i.p. Stephanie.
