'DWTS' Alfonso Ribeiro wows judges with 'insane' trio dance routine

On "Dancing with the Stars," things heated up during the quarterfinals, and one routine in particular really stole the show with the trio dance round.

Naturally, Gossip Cop couldn't get enough of the routine, and called the trio "amazing." Alfonso and Witney danced with Witney's longtime friend and professional dancer, Lindsay.

As Wetpaint put it, Alfonso absolutely "rocked" the paso doble routine, and the dance earned him a perfect score of 40/40.

And Heavy called the dance "insane" and "intense."

Alfonso's success on the dance floor has been especially impressive, considering the fact that, according to TV Guide, he has been suffering from a groin injury over the last several weeks.

Best of luck to him and Witney as the show begins its semifinal round next week.
