During his return home to run the ITU Triathlon, WGN had a surprise guest for him.
"Are you serious?" Egglesfield exclaimed as his former high school football coach approached him.
The coach went on to call Egglesfield "an outstanding athlete," and the actor had kind words for his former coach, as well.
"There [are] very few people in my life who've helped me get to where I'm at, and you're one of them," he said.
