Prepare for your inner Olsen Twins fan to have a complete freakout: Mary-Kate and Ashley just posted their first ever (public) selfie!

The notoriously private designer duo took over Sephora's Instagram account on Wednesday, and their first post was a glorious black and white selfie of the chic twins.

Clad in matching black sunglasses and chunky sweaters, the Elizabeth and James designers started off their day with a playful message that seemed very conscious at the importance of this pop culture moment.

"Rise and shine. First public selfie ever 😕 😜 @ElizandJames#SephoraTakeover," they captioned the already iconic selfie.

The photo is a rare one of the minds behind the much-lauded The Row: Mary-Kate and Ashley have kept an incredibly low profile over the last decade or so and have previously stayed as far away from social media as possible. Though their clothing lines have their own accounts, the 29-year-olds rarely -- if ever -- appear on those feeds.

The photo comes after months of discussion around the Olsens' decision to not appear in the Netflix reboot of "Full House," "Fuller House."
