Selena Gomez makes first public appearance since her latest rehab stint at the 2016 AMAs

Selena Gomez made her first public appearance since her latest rehab stint on Sunday night at the 2016 American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The "Hands To Myself" singer ended her Revival World Tour early in August to check herself into a Tennessee rehabilitation facility for health issues related to her Lupus diagnosis.

The stunning singer, who is nominated for Artist of the Year and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist at the event, stepped out in a gorgeous, simple red gown and showed off her enviably-toned arms on the red carpet.

Gomez had been rumored to appear at the event, though it's unclear if she's planning on taking the stage outside of her two chances to take home a trophy. She has performed at the two previous American Music Awards ceremonies.

Though this was Gomez's first official public appearance, she was spotted last month in Tennessee while dining out with her family.
