Who wore what this weekend: 72nd Venice Film Festival and more

Updated

As stars hit the red carpets, movie premieres, and trendy restaurants over Labor Day weekend, they made sure to show off their post-summer, pre-fall style. From the 72nd Venice Film Festival to the TV Choice Awards at Hilton Park Lane, this weekend was jam-packed with dazzling celebs making their marks on the fashion scene.

The two biggest trends of the weekend were floral prints and peacock shades. Both of this weekend's hottest trends are all-time classics, which seems fitting given the traditional vibe of both the Venice Film Festival and Labor Day weekend. We especially loved Elizabeth Banks' Marchesa lace gown accented with floral prints. The actress gave off an old-school Hollywood vibe with this intricate, feminine number. We also loved Amber Heard's Alexander McQueen gown. The star looked edgy and mysterious despite the elaborate floral print and ruffles.

Juliette Binoche traded flowers for peacocks with her all-over beaded Armani Prive gown. She stunned in peacock shades with a plunging neckline and long fringe sleeves. We anticipate more celebs sporting these colors now that Labor Day has marked the end of summer trends.
