It's no secret that the selfie craze that is sweeping the globe has gone a little too far, but this Venezuelan doctor took selfies to a new and completely inappropriate level.

Last week, Daniel Sanchez, a Venezuelan student obstetrician posted a photo to his Instagram account with the caption, "Lady I can deliver your baby but first let me take a selfie," including a picture of a women giving birth behind him. After creating insane amounts of controversy, Sanchez changed his Instagram account settings to private.

Since his post went public, more than 4,700 people have signed a petition, requesting for Sanchez to be disciplined for his thoughtless actions.

Jesusa Ricoy, the founder of the online petition said that he initially started the campaign in an effort to "tackle the culture in which this kind of thing is permitted and accepted." Sanchez completely violated and invaded this woman's privacy.
