It's no secret that comic book and superhero-related companies have become notorious for gearing their merchandise towards male fans.

With that being said, Australian blogger Rebecca Millar was faced with a very interesting yet all-too-familiar situation when her young daughter asked her for a Black Widow doll.

Millar's daughter, an avid Avengers fan, wanted the Black Widow doll, but it wasn't available in stores, and all of the online options were too expensive. In an effort to combat this issue, Rebecca Millar took matters into her own (very creative) hands.

She decided to give her daughter's doll a complete makeover, transforming it into a Black Widow doll like her daughter had originally wanted.

Millar used the hashtag #GirlsLikeMarvelToo to share the picture of the newly vamped up doll, and her character creation quickly went viral.

After seeing the amazing influx of responses, Millar has decided to go beyond just helping her daughter, and she plans on starting a business in an effort to give more makeovers to more dolls.
