Donnie Wahlberg discusses Mark's absence from wedding

All is well between the Wahlberg brothers.Donnie stopped by the Howard Stern Show Monday where he talked about his brother skipping his wedding with Jenny McCarthy. The two married last August but Mark was not one of the witnesses, though he did send them a congratulatory tweet.

TMZ reported that Mark and his wife weren't especially close with Donnie and they weren't too fond of Jenny either - but Donnie put all that to rest this week.

He told Stern that he and Mark don't get a lot of time off and the day of his wedding, August 31, was also Mark's daughter's birthday. He chose to celebrate that instead of attending the intimate affair, which lasted only 20 minutes, and Donnie said he was just fine with that.

"If Mark wants to spend the day with his daughter instead of me and my wife, that's okay." He also pointed out that he didn't attend Mark's wedding, saying, "It wasn't personal, I was working."

As for how he feels about Jenny - she told Stern he's been "very nice" to her.

This isn't the only famous family to skip out on the big day.

Kim Kardashian had to come to her brother Rob's defense when he decided to miss her and Kanye's wedding last year for personal reasons.

"He sent me a long email the morning of that he was gonna leave and there was no fight. I just thought, 'You know what? This is my day. I'm not even gonna worry about it. I hope he's OK. I totally understand that he wouldn't want to see a lot of people if he was feeling uncomfortable...That's just how I am, but we didn't even have a conversation about it.

Kim's stepbrother Brody Jenner declined his invite to the bash because he couldn't bring a plus one.
