Instagram experiencing problems

Instagram, the mega social media photo sharing site, took a hit Thursday afternoon leaving many people confused and frustrated.

Although the Instagram homepage seems to work intermittently, there are reports of lingering issues with the app.

Around 4 p.m. they confirmed the outage with a Twitter message to their loyal users:
