Penguin Park is a popular attraction in the Northland. The park, on the corner of North Norton Avenue and Vivion features a 25-foot tall fiberglass penguin and several other animals, including a kangaroo and a giraffe.

The penguin was built in 1965 by Vernon Jones, then a supervisor with the Kansas City North parks district.
