Zillow Gone Wild is astonished by price of this 360-square-foot house. Do you agree?

The extraordinarily high price of a house on the market in Nantucket, Massachusetts, has folks on a popular social media real estate page wigging out.

And for a reason — the home, which is listed for $2.095 million, is only 360 square feet.

“Tucked off Cabot Lane is a charming single story cottage with one bedroom, one bath and a loft. There are shiplap walls, cathedral ceiling, new appliances, new floors, tiled bath and new heating and cooling system,” the listing on Zillow.com says. “A private yard, off street parking and an additional 260+/- sqft of remaining ground cover help to complete this unique Cliff offering.”

Sure, the listing is right about the home being charming with its chic interior and light hardwood floors, along with its mini front yard and little white fence, but it’s clearly the location that drives up the cost. The island — which is a popular vacation place of the rich and famous — has an average home price of $3.62 million as of late 2021, Fisher Real Estate says.

Fans of Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page that highlights unique homes for sale, were agog at the cost of the home and voiced their opinions.

Is it next to an oil reserve? Or a beach made of gold?!” one person asked.

“I don’t want to hear anyone complain about CA prices ever again,” another observed.

“I think you spelled Seattle wrong,” someone said.

“A house for the live action Polly Pocket movie,” one person joked. “But seriously: WHAT IS THIS A HOUSE, FOR ANTS? The price isn’t what’s getting me, because I wager Nantucket is just like that because it’s Nantucket. It just seems like tiny tiny space. A minimalists’ dream though!”

“Eh, I’m looking for something a little smaller,” someone said.

“Glad they have outdoor seating for nine since only one person can be inside at a time,” another noted.

“I’ll need a banana for scale, lol,” one person said.
