Zendaya Is Radiant in a Plunging Red Gown at an Emmys After-Party
Zendaya debuted not one, but two stunning Valentino looks at the Emmys last night.
The Euphoria star was photographed walking the red carpet at the HBO Emmys afterparty in a plunging red gown by the Italian fashion house. The strapless, long-sleeved piece featured a long train and a deep U-shaped neckline. She accessorized with classic Bulgari diamond stud earrings and a silver ring. For glam, she wore natural bronzy makeup and had her hair slicked back into a tight bun.
The afterparty took place at San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in West Hollywood, following the award show.
Zendaya made history at the 2022 Emmy Awards. The actress took home her second Emmy this year, winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for playing Rue Bennett on the second season of Euphoria. The win made her the first Black woman to win the Emmy twice in the category, as well as the youngest two-time winner of any Emmy in history.
In her emotional speech, the 26-year-old sweetly thanked the Television Academy, her family and friends, and the Euphoria cast and crew for "making such a safe space to make this very difficult show."
The actress accepted her award onstage in a strapless black Valentino peplum gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline and bow tie belt. Her stylist, Law Roach, elevated the timeless, Old Hollywood-esque dress even more by pairing it with a diamond choker necklace from Bulgari and diamond stud earrings. She wore the same natural makeup, and her hair was down in a sophisticated wavy 'do held together by a large black bow to match her gown.
