Zendaya just brought a much-needed dose of glamour to the Oscars red carpet.

The Dune star made a head-swiveling arrival at tonight’s 96th Academy Awards ceremony, taking place at Los Angeles’s Dolby Theatre. She once again teamed up with her fashion partner-in-crime, stylist Law Roach, to deliver a megawatt statement courtesy of Giorgio Armani Privé.

The antique rose silk gown featured a metallic single-roped strap strung over a glittery black corset embellished with gunmetal paillettes. The rest of the rose-gold dress featured a retro embroidered palm-tree pattern. For accessories, Zendaya eschewed a necklace, instead opting for drop earrings, a ring, and bracelet from Bulgari. The luxe jewelry included dark pink morganite gemstones encrusted in gold.

Though Zendaya is not among tonight’s nominees, she will still be taking the stage as one of the ceremony’s presenters.

She last attended the Oscars in 2022, when the first installment of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune series ultimately took home six Academy Awards. At the time, she and Roach paid subtle homage to the space-opera adaptation via a shiny cropped menswear button-up and a sweeping skirt covered in flashing metallic silver sequins.

Since the premiere of Dune: Part Two, the two have leaned even further into the sartorial sci-fi potential for Zendaya’s wardrobe—an approach Roach described as “method dressing” in an interview with Bazaar last month.

These looks have included a glow-in-the-dark motherboard skirt suit from Alexander McQueen, a chrome suit of armor with clear body panels from Mugler, and even a Balmain menswear set that resembled the sand dunes of desert planet Arrakis.
