Coroner called, 8 injured in multi-vehicle crash on Route 30 in West Manchester Twp.

The York County Coroner has been called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Route 30 in West Manchester Township, said Ted Czech, public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management/York County 911.

At least eight people suffered injuries in the crash, Czech said.

The first call about the crash came in to York County 911 at 8:25 a.m., he said. It is at or near the intersection of Route 30 and Kenneth Road.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 30 are shut down, Czech said.

A school van was involved in the wreck, Czech said. The driver and several students were on board at the time. No one was injured.

West Manchester Township Police are investigating.

The West Manchester Township Fire Department has asked drivers to avoid Route 30 between Roosevelt Avenue and the Market Street split because of the crash, according to a Facebook post.
