What about Erie? No such ball drop exists here on New Year's Eve. Yet.

The Times-News would like to know what you think Erie should drop if the city ever created its own interpretation of the event.

We've compiled a list of possible replica items to showcase Erie's location or history. Those objects include a pepperoni ball, sponge candy, Mighty Fine donut, the Flagship Niagara, 814 area code, a perch, Wabtec locomotive, Bicentennial Tower, Perry Monument and North Pier Light. We could've added many more, but in an effort to keep the poll manageable we limited our entries to 10.
