Yellowstone star Ian Bohen has teased that "everything will land perfectly" in the series finale of the Neo-Western series.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about what to expect in season 5, part 2, the actor revealed that he wasn't aware of any show that had "finished this strongly ever" like Yellowstone will.

"The fans are going to get the [best] conclusion that could possibly be written. Everything will land in a way that is perfectly set," he said, adding that the series will be completed "in a way that it will make sense"

Bohen, who plays Ryan, went on to thank fans for their patience during the wait between seasons, promising the final episodes would be "worth the wait."

He continued: "I don't know that any show has finished this strongly ever. We're expecting to have the best series finale in history. Overconfident maybe, but I think that's what it's going to be."

Season 5, part 2 of Yellowstone is currently scheduled to air during November 2024 just under two years after part 1 premiered in 2022, which drew in over 12.1 million viewers in the US.

Production on the second half of season 5 is set to begin in Montana at some point this spring, however specific plot details are still under wraps.

There's also a question mark over what will happen with John Dutton III following actor Kevin Costner's decision to exit the series last year, with the actor yet to confirm whether or not he'll be back for the final episodes.

Luke Grimes – who plays John's son Kayce Dutton – recently spoke of about his reaction to Costner's exit, saying the news was "unfortunate."

"Whatever happened there is unfortunate if it’s changed anything about how the show was going to unfold," he said in an interview with The Independent.

"I know, [Costner] got busy with his movies that were like passion projects. At a certain point, you gotta do what you gotta do, man; you gotta do what you love."

Yellowstone season 5, part 2, will air on the Paramount Network in November 2024.
