Yellowstone season 5 part 2 gets release window as new spin-off announced
The final instalment of Yellowstone now has a release window.
The second part of season five, which will mark the end of the hit Paramount+ show, will premiere on Paramount Network in November 2024.
Fans won't have to say goodbye to the award-winning show for too long, with a new spin-off prequel in the works under the title 1944, according to Deadline. The spin-off's premiere will follow the end of Yellowstone.

The launch of 1944 follows existing spin-off 1923, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, and prequel 1983 with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. The latest spin-off is not the only one said to be in production, with another title, 2024, currently in production.
True Detective's Matthew McConaughey has been confirmed to be heading a Yellowstone spin-off, but it has not yet been announced whether this will be 2024 or 1944 and what his role will be.
Speaking in a statement, President of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy gave fans an insight into the "thrilling, new, and unexpected journey" the new spin-off series will take viewers on.

“Within five years, we grew Yellowstone from a hit US cable show with five million viewers into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans around the world and multiple extensions – and, we’re just getting started," he said.
"On the heels of 1883 and 1923’s success, our new planned spinoffs, 1944 and 2024, will take audiences on a thrilling, new and unexpected journey with the complex and compelling storytelling that has become a hallmark of the franchise and has helped turn it into a worldwide cultural phenomenon – thanks to the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan."
A second season of 1923 has already been announced, after being renewed in February. Production of the show was supposed to begin earlier this year, but was delayed due to the impact of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Yellowstone season 5 part 2 will air on the Paramount Network in November 2024.
