Yellowjackets and Wednesday stars team up for new horror movie
Yellowjackets star Sophie Nélisse and Wednesday's Percy Hynes White have joined the cast of horror movie Whistle.
According to Deadline, the film – directed by The Nun's Corin Hardy – will follow a group of misfit high school students who stumble upon an ancient and cursed Aztec Death Whistle.
They soon discover that blowing the whistle summons their future deaths, and as the death toll grows, the group desperately seek out the origins of the artefact in an attempt to stop the deadly sequence of events they have set in motion.

Other cast members include Logan's Dafne Keen, Rebel Moon's Sky Yang and Shaun of the Dead's Nick Frost.
Whistle, which is scheduled to begin production in Canada next month, is written by Owen Egerton and adapted from his own short story.
"The premise of Whistle is simple, immediate and has a fresh, haunting mythology. A cursed object that summons your future death to come and find you," Hardy said in a statement.

He continued: "The screenplay has echoes of some of my favourite classic horrors like The Ring, A Nightmare on Elm Street or It Follows, with elements of seminal high school movies The Breakfast Club and Donnie Darko.
"I’m thrilled to be working with this brilliant young cast to bring this inventive, terrifying and cinematic new horror to death… I mean life."
Nélisse is perhaps best known for her role as young Shauna in Showtime's hit survival drama Yellowjackets, which she'll reprise in the show's upcoming third season.
Meanwhile, White, who plays Xavier Thorpe in Netflix juggernaut Wednesday, is set to reunite with co-star Jenna Ortega for the upcoming romantic drama Winter Spring Summer or Fall.
Whistle has yet to receive a release date.
