WWE Star Bray Wyatt Dead at 36

WWE star Bray Wyatt has reportedly died. He was 36 years old.

The heartbreaking update was shared by fellow WWE star Paul 'Triple H' Levesque on August 24. Levesque wrote to his over 7 million followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda - also known as Bray Wyatt - unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time."

Wyatt first joined the WWE's main roster in 2010, using the moniker Husky Harris. He left in 2011, only later to rejoin the lineup in 2013, this time under the stage name Bray Wyatt.

For those unfamiliar with Wyatt, the wrestler, who was a three-time world champion in the WWE, came from a wrestling family, including Hall of Famer father, the aforementioned Mike Rotunda, and grandfather, Blackjack Mulligan.

In response to the death news, several WWE legends and stars have since paid tribute to Wyatt. Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson shared with his fans, "I'm heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family. Loved his presence, promos, in ring work and connection with @wwe universe."

He continued, "Very unique, cool and rare character, which is hard to create in our crazy world of pro wrestling. Still processing losing the goat, Terry Funk yesterday and now Bray today. My love, light, strength & mana to the Rotunda family and Funk family during this tough, heartbreaking time. As always, ‘thank you for the house.'"

Alexa Bliss, who performed with Wyatt's other alter ego The Fiend, added, "Just in shock. Really at a loss for words at the moment."
