The Road to WrestleMania 40 begins with the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 being held Saturday, Jan. 27 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET at Tropicana Field in Florida. Find out how to stream the live event, get full match-ups, start times and more.

The Royal Rumble is WWE’s annual free-for-all competition to earn a guaranteed World Championship match when WrestleMania goes to Philadelphia on April 6 and 7. The matches are streaming exclusively on Peacock, so if you want to keep up with Cody Rhodes and the rest, you’ll need to sign up for a subscription.

Each match begins with two Superstars in the ring, with a new contender entering every 90 seconds. A Superstar is eliminated once he has gone over the top rope and both feet have touched the floor. This process of elimination continues until there is just one man left standing as the winner of the Royal Rumble Match.

Wrestlers who have committed to competing in this year’s Royal Rumble include Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Gunther. On the women’s side, Bayley, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair have all declared.

Who’s Competing in WWE Royal Rumble 2024? Predictions, Odds 
Among the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 competitors is last year’s Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. He’s the son of the late WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, who competed himself from 2007 to 2016 before taking a break to pursue other interests, will also be competing. He made a surprising return in April 2022 during WrestleMania 38 to challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins. It’s not crucial that Rhodes wins win the Royal Rumble 2024, as February’s Elimination Chamber could also present the opportunity of getting a shot at Reigns. For those who aren’t betting on Rhodes to win, CM Punk is an equally strong contender.

The Women’s Royal Rumble Match has similarly high-stakes and strong Superstars. Neither Nia Jax nor Bayley have won a Rumble, but both are shaping up to be strong contenders for the championship title.
