Wrestling fans stand in line to witness IWR 26-Armageddon

It was another sell-out show at the House of Insanity for IWR 26-Armageddon. Fans stood in line waiting for the doors to open.

The VIP portion of the night began with The Perminator Sam Beale teaming with Rohit Raju with OX in their corner facing The Big Bad Wolf Ace Evans and Forever Young. It was a back and forth match with Beale and Raju ending up with the big win.

The next match saw Karam accompanied by TNA superstar John E. Bravo going up against The Kenny Urban with Goose and Rod Lee in his corner. Urban started his night off with spraying the crowd with confetti. In the end, it was Karam taking the win.

Next, Cody faced Martian Webb making it a back-to-back match as they competed the night before at IWR Port Clinton in Ohio. Results were different this time, when Cody got the pinfall win.

The VIP main event featured TNA superstar and one half of the TNA Women’s Tag Champs Havok facing AEW’s Ashley D’Amboise. The match was evenly contested until Kayla Kassidy came to ringside to interfere, punching Ashley while the referee had his back turned, allowing Havok to get the win.

During intermission, an exhibition match took place between Buckeye Sam with Coach Dutch in his corner taking on IWR newcomer The Wolverine Warrior with The Fear Leader. The match ended with Buckeye Sam picking up the victory.

The main card started with two TNA superstars going to battle. Jake Something and Jason Hotch got the crowd going with a mixture of power and agility. Hotch stood toe-to-toe the entire match and almost picked up a win. In the end, Something got the pinfall.

The Gold Standard’s Grimey Zach Thomas and Damian Chambers with manager The 24k Lion Jeremiah Goldmain teamed with Papa Dingo accompanied by Kayla Kassidy to face the team of KJ Reynolds, Ryan Matthias and The Anti-Ikon Nikki Ratu. The match was evenly contested until Papa Dingo was tagged in and crushed Nikki Ratu with a splash off the top rope for the win.

In the Loser Leaves Town Match, former TNA superstar The Death Machine Sami Callihan and IWR superstar The Bachelor Benjamin Boone went back and forth with paper cuts, staplers and more. Callihan came out victorious and Boone was carried out of the FOP hall by IWR security.

The Saint Brothers, Corey and honorary Saint Brother Ren Jones, successfully defended their IWR World Tag Team titles against former champs Death Threat Army's Aaron Orion and Jack Price and The Rascalz, TNA Superstars Trey Miguel and IWR US Champ Myron Reed.

The Main Event Monster Madman Fulton came to the ring with bad news that his opponent, The Last Real Man in Pro Wrestling Silas Young, had to cancel. Fulton sent out an open challenge to the locker room. IWR newcomer Darion Ultra made his way to the ring and started trash talking Fulton. The Main Event Monster made short work of his opponent and got the victory.

In the night’s main event, IWR World Heavyweight Champion King Latimer defended his title against Monroe’s own The Manbeast Rhino. The two athletes battled throughout the packed FOP hall. When Rhino and Latimer got back into the ring, The Eh Team Special Forces Amazing N8 Mattson, Norman and John E. Bravo started to beat down the Manbeast before the lights went out.

A spotlight came on and up on a platform in front of the IWR banner stood ECW Legend and Hardcore Icon The Sandman. With a beer in one hand and a kendo stick in the other, Sandman walked around the hall interacting with the fans before finally getting to the ring. The stunned Eh Team Special Forces were met with beer in the face and a kendo stick. Sandman then hit Latimer with the kendo stick, allowing Rhino to hit Latimer with his signature Gore. The referee counted and Rhino became the new IWR World Heavyweight Champion.
