Worst Williamson County restaurant inspections in April: bugs, dirty hands

Health inspections of more than 275 restaurants, food trucks and other food service kitchens by the Tennessee Department of Health in Williamson County returned a median score of 98 out of 100.

But six eateries in Spring Hill, Franklin and Brentwood came in far below that high score in April, the most recently available data.

Violations include a dirty ice machine, inaccessible sinks and raw chicken thawing at room temperature. Restaurants are given a chance to correct issues, and sometimes a follow-up inspection is completed the same day.
