You Won't Believe Which of Your Favorite Guys From ‘FBoy Island’ Are Back in ‘Lovers and Liars’
FGirl Island has been found dead in a ditch and replaced by Lovers and Liars. The CW’s sister series to the guilty pleasure fueled series FBoy Island has undergone a rebranding ahead of its big debut. If that entire sentence sounded like Gen Z word salad, let’s catch you up to speed.
FBoy Island is a reality dating show hosted by Nikki Glaser. It ran for two seasons on HBO Max, was cancelled, and promptly revived for a third season by The CW. As part of this revival, the network also picked up its female-forward spinoff, Lovers and Liars. FBoy Island followed three women tasked with seeding out the “f*ckboys” from the “nice guys” among a group of 24 contestants. Some are in it for screen time, others for the $100k prize, and others (we assume) for love. The third season of FBoy Island premiered in October 2023, and like clockwork, its remaining fans are hungry for more.
FGirl Island, as you can imagine, was the same same, but different. As with The Bachelor, this budding reality franchise was set to swap between male and female leads before the rebrand. From what we can tell, the content is pretty much the same, but perhaps the title FGirl Island just didn’t land. Lovers and Liars will follow 24 women vying for the hearts of three men – that, and the $100k cash prize.
The new series will air on The CW on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET., with an initial sneak peek episode airing on Monday, April 1 at 9 p.m. ET. Nikki Glaser will return as the host, and our three leading men are returning cast members (and fan favorites) from previous seasons.
