Women's college lacrosse: Mount Union's Katie Clark, Abby Lindkvist earn top OAC awards

Two Mount Union women's lacrosse players have earned special awards for the second straight season.

Senior Katie Clark was named the Ohio Athletic Conference's offensive player of the year. Junior Abby Lindkvist was voted goalie of the year.

The selections of Clark and Lindkvist mark the first time in OAC history the same team has had offensive and goalie of the year selections in back-to-back seasons. Clark and Lindkvist earned the same awards last season.

Clark has 48 goals and leads the Purple Raiders with 46 assists and 94 points this season. Her 153 career assists and 334 career points rank No. 1 all-time at Mount Union.

Lindkvist leads the OAC with a 50.0 save percentage. She also ranks second in goals allowed per game at 11.74 and wins with 12. Her 149 saves this season surpassed her own school record.
