You see lots of strange things in parking lots. People fighting with their spouses, moms rushing to CVS in their bathrobes, people parking where they shouldn't be... But you really don't stumble across the scene that one woman did too often. And amazingly the woman was totally calm when she found a cow just chilling in someone's backseat.

If you thought making it to the store with a dog in the car is tricky, just imagine if you decided to bring a whole darn cow with you.

It's not clear where @totemsalvaged was shopping when she came across the barn animal. But the unlikely juxtaposition of a small cow inside what looks like a Hummer is sort of hilarious.

"Where's your mom?" the woman asked from off-camera. "You're so cute!"

Don't worry, the cow's owner did leave the window open so that a breeze could pass through. And Lord knows that the animal wasn't going to squeeze through the opening and escape. The cow looked positively nonplussed. We guess it's just another day for them.

You know who was impressed? The comments section. They were positively tickled by the idea of a "cow car." "He was like my mom said I’m not supposed to talk to strangers," joked one commenter. "He’s like, 'I don’t know, she mooved,'" someone else teased. "This is how my family would know I won the lottery!!" a third commenter added.

While another person said they'd take things to a whole other level if it were them. "I would stand there as long as necessary to meet the mom and get a big cow hug," they vowed.

What to Feed Young Cows

A cow's diet can vary depending on a lot of different factors. And that goes double for calves too. Really young calves will need high-quality hay and plenty of clean, fresh, and cool water. Once the calf is three days old you can introduce grain, slowly at first and then you can add more grain to their feed a few days later if they haven't gotten sick and have adjusted nicely.

Eventually your calf will have a diet of about half grain and half hay or roughage. They'll ultimately a transition to formulated or commercial growing and finishing diet.

Apparently, cows are also allowed to eat snacks. In a second video on the woman's page, she must've found the cow's owner, because she later shared why the cow was brought to the store that day: "Mom was inside buying apple crisps for her," she wrote.

Hmmm, so we can sort of see why she brought the little one along. Everyone loves a snack.
