Wolves fan to walk around stadium for 48 hours
A Wolves fan has set himself a fundraising challenge to walk the perimeter of a football stadium for 48 hours without sleeping.
Manny Singh Kang said he could cover more than 300,000 steps during his walk around Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton to raise money for Dementia UK.
"I will feel very overwhelmed, very tired, but humans are capable of great things," he said.
He added that the date and timings of the event would be confirmed when football fixtures had been released.
Mr Kang invited people to join him for any length of time during the challenge to spend time with others and raise money for charity.
"My life is about meeting people, the biggest thing you can do is approach and talk to people," he said.
The volunteer ambassador for Dementia UK has taken part in challenges like sponsored walks and marathons, raising more than £260,000 for charity since 2018.
He received the Point of Light award from the prime minister in March, praising his "incredible enthusiasm and energy" in fundraising efforts.
Dementia UK described Mr Kang as an "absolute legend" and thanked him for his charity work.
The charity provides specialist advice and support to help families affected by dementia and care for their loved ones.
