WNBA draft is Monday. Where will former Syracuse, Edison Tech star Dyaisha Fair be picked?

Dyaisha Fair's basketball career has taken her from the Edison Tech Inventors to the Buffalo Bulls to the Syracuse Orange to the NCAA record books.

Next stop? The WNBA, which will hold its draft Monday. The 5-foot-5 point guard's next team remains to be seen.

Fair spent an NCAA women's Division I-record 93.4 hours — 5,604 minutes — playing games on college basketball courts during five seasons, first for Buffalo, then the Orange.

Her 3,403 points are good for third all-time in NCAA Division I history, two spots behind Iowa star Caitlin Clark, who is expected to be the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever.

“I know I’m capable of playing in that league or anywhere in the world," she told the Associated Press. "It’s just who’s going to be willing to take that chance on me?”

Fair was the All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year in 2018-19, when she averaged 33.5 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists per game for Edison Tech and played in the Ronald McDonald House All-Star Game. She averaged 22.2 points per game in college and helped Syracuse to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament that included a first-round win against Arizona.
