Witness appeal after cyclist dies on lane in Peaslake

Police are appealing for witnesses following "a single vehicle collision" in Peaslake.

A cyclist in his 50s was found in an unresponsive condition in Lawbrook Lane, Peaslake, at about 08:30 BST on Friday.

Police said he died at the scene and enquiries were under way to establish the circumstances of his death.

Surrey Police is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.

Officers are also appealing for CCTV, dashcam or helmet cam footage that may help with the investigation.

The man's next of kin have been informed.
