Netflix has released the first clip of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher.

The Hunger Games actor is replacing Henry Cavill as the magical monster hunter for the final two seasons of the fantasy drama. And now, following the recent release of filming photos of Hemsworth in costume, we've got this brief little video.

Brief is the key word here, as the clip is less than a minute long. For most of the video, we only get to see Hemsworth from the back, but he turns around right at the end and sports a suitably grim serious expression.

Hemsworth previously said he was "over the moon" to be joining the series, and thanked Cavill for laying the foundations of the character.

"Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I'm honoured that he's handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf's blades for the next chapter of his adventure," he wrote on Instagram.

"Henry, I've been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have some big boots to fill, but I'm truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world."

Ciri actor Freya Allen initially admitted that she was "dreading" returning for season 4, but once she got to the set, she felt a lot better about it.

"I was dreading it for a while if I'm honest, but now I'm on it and we have thank God a great director starting us off which has made it so much fun," she said during an interview with ComicBook. "There's so much great stuff to play. I'm actually quite happy."

The Witcher seasons 1-3 and spin-off The Witcher: Blood Origin are streaming on Netflix. Season 4 is in the works.
