J.P. Weigand & Sons has named its next president and managing partner.

Real estate executive Kevin Dreiling, who most recently served as president of Landmark Real Estate, will step into the role, CEO Nestor Weigand, Jr. announced Wednesday.

“It would be hard for me to overstate how excited we are to have Kevin join us as President of J.P. Weigand & Sons,” Weigand said in a release. “He and I had a great relationship when he was a broker here more than 25 years ago and we have a great relationship today. Kevin is a high-integrity person who is passionate about both the real estate business and the Wichita community — we are so proud to have him.”

Previous president and CFO Peggy Ward left the company in late 2020 to pursue another opportunity.

Dreiling was a commercial broker at J.P. Weigand & Son from 1993 to 1996 before spending nearly 20 years with Restaurant Management Company, an owner and operator of restaurant properties throughout the Midwest.

“I am truly honored to have the opportunity to return to J.P. Weigand & Sons in this leadership role,” Dreiling said in the release. “This organization and so many of the people that are a part of Weigand tradition have greatly influenced my life since the very beginning of my real estate career. I am really looking forward to working with Nestor, the Weigand family and the entire team.”

Weigand employs more than 230 agents across eight offices in the Wichita area.
