Tiffany Haddish is fully embracing her sobriety.

The comedian, 44, shared an update on her journey with Extra's Terri Seymouron Wednesday, May 22. Briefly addressing her arrest for a suspected DUI in November, Haddish said she has been sober ever since.

"Not drinking any alcohol. Never gonna do that again," she said, before sharing one exception to her rule. "Unless I get engaged. Then I just want him to see how crazy I am just for one day."

Haddish added that in the meantime, she's been enjoying an alcohol-free life.

In February, Haddish pleaded no contest to reckless driving stemming from her November arrest in Los Angeles. The two misdemeanor charges against her were dropped, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.

In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE about her memoir I Curse You with Joy last month, Haddish shared that she had been sober since her arrest.

“I’m very sober,” she said. “I haven’t had a drink since [the incident]. When I sit back and look at my life, everything that’s crazy that’s happened is because somebody or myself had alcohol in their system.”
