Pink is celebrating a marriage milestone with her husband, Carey Hart, but the "Please Don't Leave Me" songstress says the couple "almost didn't make it" to this point.

She took to Instagram to mark their 18th wedding anniversary on Jan. 7, 2024, offering vulnerable insight into their sometimes tumultuous relationship, which publicly nearly came to an end between 2008 and 2009 before the two reconciled and called off their divorce.

But, it turns out that wasn't the only time things nearly ended between them, as she revealed. "Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table. We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest," she wrote, alongside a series of sweet photos from throughout their relationship.

"When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust. It’s...hard," she continued, going on to explain how "humbled" she is by "the surprise of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. How love rearranges itself and reappears after an empty night or five."

She added, "I’m proud we made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars proudly. You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock. The family we’ve built and the stories we have weaved together and the memories we continue to make are worth more than a thousand million awards that anyone could give me. I love you and I love us."

The two were married on Jan. 7, 2006, and share two children together: daughter Willow, 12, and son Jameson, 7.
