Why Pete Won’t Be Joking About Kim During ‘SNL’NBC

Pete Davidson is returning to Saturday Night Live as a host, meaning he’ll get a full monologue, which basically functions like a mini stand-up set. But if you’re expecting Pete to mention his ex Kim Kardashian, apparently jokes about their relationship are fully off the table.

Page Six claims that Pete “decided not to take any jabs at the reality star,” and a source tells the outlet that while he’ll be “a good sport” about his love life, he’s “being a gentleman” when it comes to Kim.

Why, you ask? Apparently because when Kim and Pete broke up back in August 2022, they mutually agreed to “drop everything” and “move on,” which is “why she’s not mentioned in his stand-up.”

“[He’s respecting the fact that] her team is so protective of her image and it was so volatile from Kanye’s side,” the source added.

That said, another insider tells Page Six that they won’t be surprised if a Kardashian bit does make it into the show, saying, “Nothing has been written yet, but know with Pete, nothing is off the table.”

Guess we’ll see what happens.…Till then, reminder that Pete and Kim connected when she hosted SNL back in October 2021. By which I mean they fully kissed during a Jasmine and Aladdin sketch.
