Why Kids Are Shouting Out Travis Kelce for Being an Inspiration After Milestone Achievement

Travis Kelce may have taken several years after the fact to cinch his college degree, but now that the tight end has finally earned his diploma, several children that have benefited from his efforts to make education more accessible are cheering him on with the sweetest messages.

Kids associated with Operation Breakthrough, a local Kansas City organization that his own foundation Eighty-Seven & Running supports, gathered together to film a supportive video following his viral commencement ceremony.

One little girl, dressed in a red graduation robe, enthusiastically yelled, "Congratulations!" while another celebrated, "You did it!"

"I wanna be just like you," one little boy told the camera, before another girl shyly said, "You're an inspiration."

The group all seem to be preparing for their kindergarten graduations.

"It's a big inspiration because it makes me want to finish school and just tell myself to keep going and not to stop," another young man, who looked to be in middle or high school, said candidly, before one last supporter said, "We love you, Travis Kelce," and the shy little girl from earlier in the video shrugged, "Good job."

"Congratulations to our fav guy, @killatrav on graduating from @uofcincy 🥳🫶🎉," the caption read.

Operation Breakthrough aims to "provide a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and to empower their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education," a similar mission to Kelce's charity which serves the underserved youth of his hometown and beyond. However, Operation Breakthrough only served children through the eighth grade, so the two teamed up to launch the Ignition Lab, which created a space for teens from 14 to 18 to explore careers in STEM.

Kelce frequently hosts events in support of the organizations, showing off his impressive dance moves at the last lip sync battle held, which was supported by the Kansas City Current and the National Women's Soccer League.
