Gillian Anderson, 55, showed up to the 81st Golden Globes on Sunday night wearing a statement-making dress covered in vaginas.

The Sex Education star’s ivory strapless gown, which featured embroidered vulvas on its skirt, was designed by Gabriela Hearst. In a red carpet interview with Deadline, Gillian explained that there were “so many reasons” she decided to wear the dress. A big one? “It's brand appropriate,” she said.

While Gillian implied that her fashion choice was brand appropriate for her hit Netflix series, she’s also the creator of G Spot drinks, which contain “life-enhancing adaptogens and nootropics,” according to the G Spot website. In another red carpet interview, Gillian told Billy Bush from Extra that the dress was actually a collaboration with Hearst and G Spot brand. “There are so many yonis on my dress,” she told Bush, adding that they took about 150 hours to embroider.

On Monday, Gillian shared a "#yonioftheday"Instagram video of her dress at the Golden Globes, and it’s kind of everything. First, The Crown actress works her way down what appears to be a hotel hallway, jokingly “eats” food that was left on a tray, and poses in an elevator, before the doors shut.

“So pleased to collaborate with my friend @gabrielahearst on this beautiful custom embroidered dress,” Gillian wrote in the caption. “Each yoni motif took about 3.5 hours to embroider and was made entirely in the garment district of NYC.” Naturally, fans cheered her on in the comments: “Get yourself a woman who can do it all: being breathtakingly stunning in the one moment, being goofy in the other and it all while wearing a dress covered in yonis. That’s a true icon 🤌,” said one. “I want to renew my vows in that dress! 😍,” wrote another.

Gillian also shared photos of her ‘fit for the night, along with a close-up of the embroidery, on her Instagram Story, making it more than clear that she was feeling this look—as she should.
