The CMT Awards are shaping up to be a can't-miss event. The fan-voted award show will be held at Moody Center in Austin, Texas, again this year on April 7, with Kelsea Ballerini returning to host solo this time. Recently, the CMT performers and nominees were announced.

For 2024, the CMT Awards performers include: Jelly Roll, Bailey Zimmerman, Sam Hunt, Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Jordan Davis, NEEDTOBREATHE, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Parker McCollum + Brittney Spencer and, of course, Kelsea Ballerini. Most recently, Little Big Town + Sugarland joined the list of growing performers along with Dasha and Jason Aldean.

Zimmerman will perform "Where It Ends" live for the very first time. Lainey Wilson will sing fan favorite, "Country's Cool Again." Sam Hunt is set to debut a brand-new song during the show. For his 20th CMT Music Awards performance, Keith Urban will sing his new single "Straight Line." Cody Johnson will return to his home state to perform "That's Texas" off of his new album Leather. Old Dominion and Megan Moroney are teaming up to perform "Can't Break Up Now," while Moroney will also perform her hit song "No Caller ID." Parker McCollum and Brittney Spencer will perform "Burn It Down" for the first time together. Little Big Town and Sugarland are slated for a live world premiere collaboration, during the awards show.

Along with performing at the awards show, some of these artists are also nominated for awards. Jelly Roll is nominated for the coveted Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, and CMT Performer of the Year for "Need a Favor," making him one of this year's top nominees. Lainey Wilson is also up for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year for "Watermelon Moonshine" (plus a Collaborative Video of the Year nomination). Bailey Zimmerman achieved one nomination for Male Video of the Year for "Religiously." Kelsea Ballerini, who is also a top nominee, received nods for Video of the Year and CMT Performer of the Year for "IF YOU GO DOWN (I'M GOIN' DOWN TOO)" and Female Video of the Year for "Penthouse." However, not all of the CMT performers are nominated for an award this year.

CMT announced the first round of performers on their Instagram account and fans left messages like, "So psyched!!!!" and "SUPER EXCITED ABOUT LAINEY’S PERFORMANCE!! 🤠🎤🎵🎶🩷"
