Why Bradley Cooper Didn’t Walk the 2024 Met Gala Carpet With Gigi Hadid

Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid chose not to make their red carpet debut at the 2024 Met Gala. In fact, Cooper didn’t go to the event at all. Hadid attended herself, wearing a white off-the-shoulder Thom Browne gown for the night’s “The Garden of Time” dress code.

Cooper was last seen in Philadelphia on May 2, attending a Knicks game. It’s unclear whether he returned to New York since then or chose to stay in Pennsylvania.

Cooper and Hadid have been dating since October, and while they’ve been photographed together in New York, they’ve never attended an event together. The couple has kept their relationship almost completely private.

Still, April was a special month for them. Travis Kelce’s mom revealed that the couple recently vacationed with Kelce and Taylor Swift in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Hadid later shared photos of the trip on Instagram.

While Hadid and Cooper didn’t make their Met debut this year, a source told Entertainment Tonight on April 25 that they are serious, making it a strong possibility in the future.

The source said, “Everything is going well with Gigi and Bradley, and they’re really happy in their relationship. Their friends and family would love to see them get engaged soon, but also know that they are on their own path and timeline.”

The insider added that Cooper and Hadid really are well-matched and have a great rapport. “Communication has always been key between the two of them, and they are both open and honest with each other about their future,” the source said. “They are also both dedicated when it comes to their work commitments and projects, loved ones, and parenthood. They have similar goals, which makes it very easy for them to connect.”
