The White Lotus star Meghann Fahy has landed her next movie role in thriller Drop.

Fahy starred in the second season of the dark comedy drama as the seemingly-sweet but manipulative wife of Theo James's Cameron, at the White Lotus resort in Sicily – but her new film is set to be far from a holiday.

As reported by Deadline, the thriller will be directed by Happy Death Day's Christopher Landon, and will be titled Drop. Studios Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes (The Purge franchise) will produce.

While the film's official log line is still under wraps, the publication reports that it's "a fast-paced thriller".

Following Fahy's breakout role (and rave reviews) in The White Lotus' second season, she will next be seen in Netflix's mystery-thriller The Perfect Couple alongside Nicole Kidman and Liev Schriber.

The film is an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel of the same name.
