Kiefer Sutherland is returning to television in a brand-new series, and this one promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

The 58-year-old actor, who is famous for his roles in 24, Designated Survivor, Stand by Me, and The Lost Boys, is taking on the starring role in Rabbit Hole, and we have to say his performance is giving us Jack Bauer vibes. The Emmy-winning actor takes on the role of John Weir, a corporate spy who is framed for murder by powerful forces.

Kiefer talked to CBS Mornings about the comparison between the characters. He said, "The genre is the same...but there are huge differences in the characters. Jack Bauer is the guy who would run into a fight. John Weir will try to figure out how to run away from a fight as hard as he can."

The twisty action-packed trailer promises, "The deeper you go, the deadlier it gets." Kiefer is joined by Charles Dance ("Game of Thrones"), Meta Golding ("Empire"), and Rob Yang ("Succession"). Paramount released the trailer, and fans left comments like, "All I need to see is Kiefer Sutherland in a spy show and I am in," "I love Kiefer in these kinds of roles," "Giving me 24 vibes and I am so there," and "Jack Bauer and Tywin Lannister…SOLD!!!!"
