Where to take in summer concerts in Gaston County
Gastonia, Belmont, Mount Holly and Dallas have released their 2024 summer concert schedules.
While the city of Lowell will have Music in the Park from noon to 3 p.m. at its May 11 Barbecue Cookoff, the city has not yet released its full list of Music in the Park dates for 2024.
So, here is a list of confirmed summer concerts in Gaston County.
Summer Concert Series
Gastonia’s summer concerts will take place at the Rotary Pavilion located at 107 N. South St.
Along with music, the events will host several food trucks and beverage tents.
Each show starts with a pre-concert DJ at 5 p.m. followed by an opening act at 6 p.m. and the headlining act at 7:30 p.m.

May 17, DJ Supreme Myckles, Nieka Simone and Gabriel Sanchez Presents the Prince Experience
June 21, DJ Johnny B, Bailey Marie Griggs, and On the Border - The Ultimate Eagles Tribute
July 19, DJ Eric Bowman, Ben Gatlin Band and Kids in America
Aug. 16, DJ Supreme Myckles, Garrett Huffman and Caleb Davis
Friday Night Live
Belmont will put on six summer concerts this year with half taking place on Main Street, and half taking place on the upper field of Stowe Park, located at 24 S. Main St.
Shows take place from 6 - 10 p.m. on select Friday nights in May and June.
Food trucks and beverages will be available on-site.

Mount Holly Nights
The city of Mount Holly will host six nighttime concerts on Main Street this year accompanied by a beer and wine garden, food trucks and more.
Opening acts begin playing at 6 p.m. followed by headliners at 7 p.m.

Concerts on the Square
Dallas' Concerts on the Square will take place from 7 - 10 p.m. on at least one Saturday each month.
