It's that time of year to take a stroll or a ride through some illuminated exhibits of holiday splendor.

The displays below are a compilation of traditional events that happen annually, suggestions from the Beacon Journal newsroom and displays we found online.

Akron

Akron Zoo Wild Lights, 505 Euclid Ave., Akron. Dec. 9-11, 16-23, 26-30 from 5-9 p.m. Ticket prices range from $11 to $18 and parking $3 to $5 depending on date and time. akronzoo.org/wild-lights.

Barberton

Lake Anna, 615 W. Park Ave., Barberton. Runs through Jan. 1. Lights turned on daily at 5 p.m. and remain on until 7 a.m. the following morning.

Copley

Foxtail Holiday Lights, 950 Bridlewood Dr., Copley. Runs through Dec. 31. Sunday through Thursday 6-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 6-10 p.m. foxtailholidaylights.com.

Cleveland

Wild Winter Lights at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland. Walk-through dates are Dec. 7-10, 14-23, 26-29. Drive-through dates are Dec. 5-6, 11-13. Hours at 5:30-10:30 p.m. Ticket information here.

Cuyahoga Falls

Synchronized Light Display in Cuyahoga Falls, 107 Lincoln Ave., Cuyahoga Falls. Tune in to 87.9 FM for holiday music accompaniment.
