Texas is now known not only for its hot weather, but for its hot people.

BonusFinder.com, an online casino search platform, recently released a list of states with the most beautiful residents, and Texas is up there. The state ranked third on the list, just behind Illinois and — sigh — California.

The list was informed by metrics such as each state's number of Miss USA winners, the number of Victoria's Secret Angels and the number of people designated Sexiest Man Alive.

Texas boasts the most Miss USA winners of any state, with 10. It also claims three Teen USA winners, one Victoria's Secret Angel, 240 models and two Sexiest Men Alive honorees.
